Apple Sauce Recipe

A quick and easy apple sauce recipe.

  • 2 Medium Apples or enough to Make 1/2 Cup of Puree
  • 1 Cup of Apple Jelly
  • 1/2 Cup of Apricot Preserves
  • Tablespoon of Light Corn Syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon of Cornstarch
  • 1 Tablespoon of Cold Water

Directions

Using a food processor, puree your apples.  In a large sauce pan, heat jelly, apricot preserves and corn syrup stirring until melted.  Mix in apple puree.  In a smal cup, dissolve corn starch in the cold water, then whisk into the glaze.  Bring to a simmer and cook until mixture boils, thickens and turns clear- ~ 2 minutes. 

Strain the glaze and drizzle over entire cheesecake or dessert.  Enjoy Apple Sauce.
