Blueberry Cheesecake Recipes

Blueberries are a great compliment for any dessert recipe especially for blueberry cheescakes recipes.

Your cheesecake recipe may call for fresh or frozen blueberries.  Or maybe it will call for blueberry jams, jellies or preserves.

Whichever one that it uses, just keep in mind these few thing:

For fresh blueberris always only clean them before you cook.  The less you handle them, the smaller chances they will have to bruise.

And do handle them gently.  Unless their still fresh, blueberries can become soft and loose their shape quickly, especially the bigger ones.

When adding fresh blueberries to recipes, gently fold them in at the end of the mixing process. This also helps them to keep their shape.

As for jams, jellies or preserves, use only the highest quality.  If your area has one, go to a specialty store or a local farmers market.  You can find some unique and wonderful products there.
