Cheesecake Cookware

Having the right tools for any job makes your life a thousand percent easier.

What are the basic items you need to bake your next great cheesecake?  Well of course you're going to need your cookware.  Great cookware to a cook is like scalpel to a surgeon or a needle to a seamstress.  You just can't do without it.

So what do you need?  The following items are a definite must if you want to save time, energy and to make sure your cheesecakes come out looking like you bought them from a store.

Cheesecake Pans

Want your family to think your cheesecake came from a store?  Then having a good cheesecake pan is a must.

Springform pans and pans with a removable bottom allow you to remove your cheesecake from the pan quickly and effortlessly.  Whether you decide to use the springform or the removeable bottom pan, they both allow you to remove your cheesecake without disturbing the sides, making your cheesecake look like it came from a bakery.

Parrish 9x3-in. Cheesecake Pan with Removable Bottom

The only drawback with the springform pan is that the sides may begin to buckle or the spring in the release stops working and you also need to watch out for leaks.

Calphalon 9-in. Classic Nonstick Springform Pan

Quick Tip: Wrapping the springform bottom with aluminum can help prevents leaks and it also a good idea to use if you cook in a water bath.

Wilton 10-in. Nonstick Excelle Elite Heart-Shaped Springform Pan

Plus, most of these pans come with a nonstick interior.  But even if they don't, you can always coat with cooking spray or a generous amount of butter.

But before you can pour the batter into the pans, you've got to mix it.  Check out mixers for cheesecake.
