Rum Cheesecake Recipes

Yes mates, rum is more than a beverage that warms you on cold winter nights. It's also great flavor enhancer for your dishes. In fact rum has been used to add flavor to cakes, poultry and everything in between. Given it's smoothness, it's little wonder that so many cheesecakes recipes have been enlivened with it unique flavor. And by the way, drinking rum will not create aspirations of sailing the seven seas with a skull and crossbones as your mask.

For the uninitiated, rum color ranges from dark to light. Also, some brands can be quite expensive. Ironically though, it's been my experience that the cheaper rums usually do a better job of flavoring my dishes. It's nice to know if you're trying to pinch a penny here and there.
